Our company holds a full and unconditional health and safety executive licence to work on or with asbestos and we also own and manage our own licenced waste transfer station permitted by the environment agency. Our attitude towards asbestos means that we can offer comprehensively integrated and expert solutions, surveys, risk assessments, removal, repair, reinstatement and disposal at the most competitive rates. If you are an employer or are self-employed and have some or all of the responsibility for conducting repairs upon your premises you may well be the duty holder in which case any legal responsibility for ensuring your asbestos survey has been conducted will rest with you. A key stage in managing asbestos is to identify the location, type, condition and extent of any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). This can be achieved by conducting an asbestos survey with our asbestos contractors in Sailsbury. The survey should be in accordance with HSE guidance.
There are two surveys that can be conducted for asbestos and they are the management survey and the refurbishment & demolition survey. The management survey is a standard survey. Its purpose is to locate as far as reasonably practicable and extent of any suspect ACMs in the building which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, including foreseeable maintenance and installation. Then the refurbishment & demolition survey is needed before any refurbishment or demolition work is carried out. This survey is used to locate and describe all ACMs in the area where the work is taking place or in the whole building if demolition is planned. The survey will be fully intrusive and involve destructive inspection to access all areas. It is very important that asbestos is removed from the property as according to the HSE asbestos is responsible for 4500 deaths each year. Our highly trained team can undertake the removal and disposal of all materials containing asbestos.
